Just got round to loading my Cornwall holiday pics onto my PC. Most are from Mevagissey, and a few there are from the Eden Project. Tried a different technique to usual by lowering saturation and upping contrast. I like the effect it gives, but if I've overused it, let me know (I didn't apply this to all the pics though).

1. A Porthole on a building

2. A sexual Porsche 356 Speedster

3. Same car, different angle

4. Part of Mevagissey Bay

5. A Seagull that wanted to kill me (probably)

6. A rather talented guitarist, can't remember what he was singing/playing, but it was very good.

7. The same guitarist

8. Crazy Golf! I liked the way the bright sunlight was hitting these balls, so I went for a different, slightly abstract approach.

9. Flowers at the Eden Project

10. More flowers!

12. Inside an Eden biome

The flowers don't suit the post-processing you've done in my opinion. The photos are all very good though, especially like the Porsche.

I dont like the compression level/sharpening on them.

Mevagissey Bay? I recognise that as Padstow and the River Camel estruary. N'est pas?

Duh!

Actually, I think you're right! Now you mention it, I think it is Padstow. Well spotted.

(I only went there 2 weeks ago. There is something seriously wrong with me)

:)

It's a family holiday destination. Since 1985. I protest each year.

I've been on that boat at least 5 times, heard that man play his tunes everytime we go. I smell those lobster pots by the harbour, the crazy golf never gets crazier - just more expensive. The women get fatter each year, the chips get greasier, it gets more crowded. Don't think I'll go this year - the novelty has worn off.

Glad you enjoyed it though

Did I say I enjoyed it? ;)

The Ice cream was extortionate, the crazy golf was a waste of time, and there were soooooo many people everywhere, you had to queue to breathe :p

It was the let down of the holiday really, but the rest of it was excellent for the most part. Apart for the Eden Project, which was packed and smelt of B.O.

P.S We stayed in a really nice farm cottage in Duloe, between Liskeard and Looe. It was expensive though.
