Hi
I have 3D printed this home lab rack mount, all in ABS for great strength.

Currently housing my 2.5gigabit switch and pass through module that I designed myself using UGREEN RJ45 couplers.
I plan to add my home assist hub, currently in a pi, but I plan to upgrade to a miniPC for it, and a touchscreen IPS panel for monitoring and stats etc.

Neat! Love the colours.

I'm just dipping my toes into Networking and 3d Printing at the same time, so will keep an eye on this thread!

I printed out a different 10" rack and used PLA. That wasn't too clever as it started to sag due to the weight and heat of the stuff I put in it.

Ha!

I bought 5kg of PETG, but only in gloss black, hoping it will be functionally alright for a couple of different home network projects.

Just bored of the colour already!

I definitely need to learn how to do those brass inserts, function and form!

I don't use PLA for anything other than test prints which I expect to go in the bin. PETG is a good all rounder, and ABS for pure strength.

PLA does have the best range of colours and silks though.

Nope, it's a design on makerworld.

I just added on a !U rack for mu Philip Hue Bridge under my switch panel.
