should do just fine, for normal TV and freeview.
Im using a P4 with a Nvidia6400 AGP card & nebula TV card at the moment.
Only thing I would say if you want to play HD stuff you may want to check out one of the HD ATI cards http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-081-HT&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=938
or perhaps one of the equivalent Nvidia cards

Looks good, but to be honest I don't think you can have too much hard drive space in an HTPC so I'd suggest going for a larger drive (say 500gb) as you don't want the hassle of running low on space and having to squeeze another drive in to a small HTPC case, potentially causing heating issues.

Thanks for the help guys, fair point about the hdd will look into other options - and think i'll try the onboard HDMI first (apparently its capable of 1080p), and if i have no luck ill look into GFX cards like the one mentioned.
