Hey there,
I am currently on Virgin Media 60MB Broadband connection, but for the past 2-3 weeks it has been dropping to 0.5mbps - 3mbps and then the highest I get is about 40mbps.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Are you on a cabled connection from the PC to the router? If not try a cabled connection to make sure it isn't a local problem.

Do you have ore than one networked device? Does the same problem exist on all of them?

I am on a cabled connection, and the only other device on it, is an ipad which also suffers from the wifi.

Also, my uncle who lives on the same street as me sometimes gets these issues.

From that response it sounds like it could be Virgin's problem.

If that is the situation then there's not much you can do apart from contacting them and having a good moan.

Was the service previously okay?

The service was good, I was previously on the 20MB line, and then upgraded to this, and it has been good, although the 'SuperHub' can be quite bad. But it has only become this bad recently.
Which is why im thinking of switching to Sky Fibre.

Edit - Also, I forgot to mention that im using a powerline adapter for the wired connection, if this makes any difference.
