My iPod has become a lot slower...

Rawr. My iPod latest generation Video 60Gb is becoming quite a bit slower. Is this does to the software - needs an update?

I do have 37Gb of music on there and 4Gb of videos. Perhaps it's just quite overloaded?

Thought i'd check just in case other people's iPods were working fine with high volumes of data on them.

When it happens on my 4G iPod, I reformat it and then reload all the data in order which tends to speed it up for a while as it has to do less disk seeking.
