Hi, the other day i switched off my K800i and took out the battery to get to my sim card, but when i put it back together it dosent switch on or charge up.

When I try to switch the phone ON, an LED flashes, where the IR port is, and then stops.

This LED also flashes a few times when i plug the phone in to charge.

I had left it plugged in for over 8 hours last night, but still nothing, the battery charge indicator dosent even come on.

I have got two batteries, and have tried to charge them both, they give the same LED flashes.

Please help me, all i did was remove the battery so i could get my SIM card number.

Thanks!

I had exactly the same problem after a few months of owning the phone, I had to send it off to be repaired. This was with O2.

I had the same problem, sent it off to be repaired but they said it was due to liquid damage (i'd never got it wet) so they wouldn't repair it. Try taking out the battery for half an hour. You can also try holding down the C key and plug in the usb cable from your computer.

I did get it wet in the rain about 3 weeks ago, but it was alright since then.

easy to fix. Download wotan cliet. load it up and make sure u clear the username and password bit. click start and it will tell you to plug the usb cable in whilst pressing c. After that it should reset somethign in the phone and it will work fine. had exactly the same problem on mine yesterday and this fixed it.

Wow, it's working now!!! YAY... THANKS VERY MUCH MATE!

Is this a common problem with Network provider firmwares maybe? I flashed my Vodafone branded k800i with the SE one (latest) and not encountered any problems (had it over a month now)

Would be good to know!
