What are you talking about? How is bracketing going to help if the light isn't good in the first place? That's just another example of trying to force a landscape to be incredible when it is only ever going to mediocre.
If the light isn't there you can't invent it even with all the ND grads, polarizers, bracketed exsposures, HDR and processing in the world. It's just not going to come anywhere close to the luck/blind determination to be in the right place at the right time. That's what makes landscape photography so interesting, you could take a photo that is completely stunning but if you took exactly the same shot 10 minutes later it could be totally flat and boring. It's just the way it goes and just adds an extra level of 'WHOA!' when you finally see something that is truly amazing.
