My laptop vs xbox one

Which do you think would be better for gaming, an Xbox one or my Laptop, specs below:

Zenbook pro 14
Intel core i7
GTX 1050 2GB
8GB Ram.

This isn't a gaming laptop and can get quite hot.

Based in the specs, honestly for me I'd say the Xbox. Just for (probably) a larger, nicer screen and sound, controller vs laptop keyboard. GPU also won't be hugely better than the latest Xbox 1 games I wouldnt have thought. The RAM might also cause a couple of problems unless it's a lean install without much bloat. You can get by with 8GB, I did until recently, but won't be able to have chrome running (or discord, Skype, all your launchers etc) whilst gaming.

If it gets hot, then it's probably going to throttle and slow down. I'd say just get an Xbox One S All Digital Edition (for maybe £100 in Black Friday sales coming up in 6 weeks) and Game Pass to have an instant library.
