Hi i have a dell M170 laptop and was hoping you guys could help me out.
The problem is whenever i switch it on i get vertical lines which makes it near impossible to see much on the screen. Now i have tried a few methods to fix this and the only thing that comes close is by installing nvidia drivers and do a restart then windows will probably crash on restart but then i do a system repair (windows 7 here) and restart and then the vertical lines are all gone and everything looks perfect. Then it just shutdown by itself and when i start it up again the lines are back. I think im flogging a dead horse but it seems strange i can get rid of the lines so not sure what the exact problem is.
Anyway i just want a bit of guidance as im stumped what to do atm.
