My Lian Li PC-A71F

Do you have it on all the time with the front open? Otherwise surely that's going to be restricting the airflow a fair amount?
Now why would anyone want to keep door open? That would let noise out.
I never keep door open except when accessing optical drive or similar and intake fans are SlipStreams running at 900rpm.
F-version removes push-pull fan config around HDD cage and has rubber strip between front and door's edge (leaving holes in door's side for airflow) but has 14cm intake fans so it should be about similar.

When I'm gaming in hot weather for extended periods I do tend to open the door to aid airflow, but I don't think its really necessary. There are vents around the door with about half an inch clearance from the fans and allow plenty of air in. You can just about see the vents on the right side of the picture I posted.

Two very nice tidy systems guys. The room in theese cases is fantastic. So much easier to assemble a system in.

Thank you kind sir :D and yes it was a total pleasure to build apart from the braiding making pretty much every one of my fingers bleed :(

As an additional comment, I took the side off mine last night to attack it with some canned air and there was virtually no dust inside from running every evening for 3 months, and I have a dog. The filters are doing a sterling job :D

Paradigm, you any closer to watercooling yet? got the same case myself and want to go watercooling but as Ive not WC before not sure whats going to be best set up, want to cool gfx as well as cpu as a minimum.
Are you looking at a 280 rad in front and 240 in rear? Am I right in thinking thats best possible set up without modding?

There are replacement triple rad panels that will fit the A71F, have a look at this thread here

Havent been able to source one for my own case, my A70F has the same internals as the A71F, however on mine the pwr/reset buttons are on the top panel, hence i need a different version.

2011 Bump!

I came here remembering how amazing the cable work was in all the posts by owners of this case.

Hoping to make an addition of my own in a couple of months! thanks for the inspiration!

Well my A70F is being sent away soon to get powdercoated inside, sick looking at bare aluminium tbh.

Just for info, in case anyone is wondering, I sent OcUK a webnote asking if they could source the above top panel, unfortunately they cant

My top-panel is en-route from the states as I type.

Should be fully watercooled with my i7 by the end of June, of course I'll update the pics :)
