My Logitech G5 just died, suitable replacement?

Hi,

Sad news today, my G5 of 5 years just died, so needing to get a good replacement, ideally don't want to spend more than £40, any suggestions?

Has the G700s still got the terrible "stiff" cable that the G700 has?
Basically it's impossible to use it as a wired mouse with the cable supplied because the cable is so non-flexible?
(Sorry, attempted thread hijack, but honestly interested).

I wouldnt know its fine wireless since i use it 1 foot away from where the cable sticks out, its a fantastic wireless mouse though !
