My mate just bought a MAC

Windows: About a month ago- Cisco VPN client seems to cause it sometimes.

Mac: Never.

Linux: Can't remember having a full system crash ever
 
OS10 Too long ago to remember
Windows XP (disregarding some crashes due to a HD fault) also too long ago to remember.

The whole "it just works" things is so very 1990's... and everytime some zealot says it all they are really saing is "I'm too stupid to use a PC".

Or maybe they're saying "I can't be arsed dicking around - I want to get my stuff done." I've used windows, linux and os x in my time and I love os x because it doesn't frustrate me. I'm by no means stupid when it comes to computers - I just want to get on with something rather than persuading my computer to work.
 
I don't recall ever having to "persuade my computer to work" except when trying to mod and run games from the 90's.

Not had one full crash since installing win 7 beta either
