Just built my first ever system in a coolermaster 360 case. Have a look at the pic and see if there is anything you can suggest may make things a bit neater in there. :D Might have a look at a Bitfenix Merc Alfa if there ever get released.

wow, that case is even worse for cable tidying than my elite 342. i do have some ideas though:

- bunch up the two PCIe cables going towards the graphics card in an oval so they go in a straight line from the PSU to the PCIe slot
- use the space between the PSU and the side of the case to shove loads of cables in if you can and cable tie these to some part of the case so they wont move about
- tape the leads that go from the front panel to the motherboard at the bottom of the case (the bottom of it in the picture anyway)
- if they will fit, route the rear fan power cables between the fan casing and the motherboard back panel, then between the graphics card and motherboard, then round the edges of the case, cable tying or taping to the case wherever is convenient
- if it will reach, try and get the CPU power cable to go around the RAM, rather than over it (underneath the power connector for the hard drive thats beneath the DVD drive would be great)

i assume that since the PSU is modular you've removed all unused cables

if all else fails, just use string, LOADS of string

Haha,

Thanks everyone, I decided to get the Merc Alfa on pre order, will post up a pic or two once I get that to show the difference space makes even for a total first timer like myself. I really would never recommend the CM360 to anyone there is just no space to work and that is even a mATX mobo too.

Well done on your first build :)

TBH i think you have done really well with the space that you have.

Not sure what socket set you have but i cant help but notice the placing of your RAM, looks like to me you have 2 sticks of RAM, but you have placed them next to each other, correct me if im wrong but dual channel RAM weather it be DD2 or 3 should be used in the correct DIMM slots.

the coolermaster 360 elite case is easy to do cable management in if you take time! look at my post above. I did a good job for being a novice :)

You know I never ended up using my shroud with the haf-x case :S Might be an issue?

Also you've done well OP with your cabling considering it seems it's a tiny case and doesn't come with cable management extra's like a lot of cases :O
