My mini itx build :D - completed with pictures!

First time building a mini rig but the prodigy is such an amazing case I just have to but one and build a system. Let me know what you think. I would have done the same layout as everyone else with the links and pictures and total basket price but I have no idea how you do that as when I paste my basket it comes out all messed up so if anyone could shine some light on how they do it that would be great :D :D

Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail

Gigabyte Z77N-WIFI Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Mini ITX Motherboard

Corsair Force Series 3 120GB SATA 2.5" 6Gb/s Solid State Drive (CSSD-F120GB3A-B)

BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX Cube Case - Arctic White

Corsair Hydro H60 V2

Corsair Builder Series CX 600W V2 '80 Plus Bronze'

Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz

BitFenix Spectre PRO 230mm Fan - All White

I'm still looking for GFX around the £150-£170 if anyone has any idea's

Anything I should change please let me know :D

at that price level a 7850 is the best bet tbh

you could get a 660 for just over £170 but the performance difference is minimal

also id go fully modular on the psu for a small case like the prodigy

the ram tbh is ok, but i dont like that it needs 1.65v (i have 16gb of that ram)

if i were buying id get this

other than that your good

The Gigabyte motherboard is no good if you are planning on overclocking, the Asrock is around the same price, or the Asus is a bit more.

You'll need to slightly modify the Antec Kuhler backplate if you go for that, don't let that put you off, it's very easy with a craft knife or wire cutters.

Cheers for that mate, Yea I was looking at the 7850's they seem pretty good bang for buck :D The RAM you picked is awesome cheers for that matey!

How do you get this? I've tried so many times to copy and paste my basket never comes out like this.

Thanks for the comment, You can overclock on it, You can change the multiplier and able to get 4.3Ghz on a 3570k which is okay for me, This board doesn't let you change the Vcore which doesn't effect me as I'm not going mad on the overclock :D

I just want to let you know why i specced what i did.. and how it could relate to your spec..

Not much between the 660 and the 7850 (more in favour of the 7850 though) Personal choice really.

The motherboard you've picked is Out of Stock where as the Asrock isn't.

The Samsung SSD's are far more reliable than the corsair's.

The Kuhler 620 is on offer and at £15 less than the H60 its well worth it as there is very little between the two.. Some people say the Kuhler is better.

I accidentally picked Fast RAM :). 1600 Mhz is spot on..

White Looks good... No DVD Drive?

Better angle, Some wires connected ended up taking mobo back out and running some cables under mobo for better air flow.

Only cables that are now visible are the 24 pin and the 8 pin cpu plug. All other loose cables are tied up behind PSU was also able to get my SSD behind there so that made things a whole lot cleaner.
