Hey,
I've been having this issue for quite some time now, and I keep putting it off, but it's kinda annoying me now. It's a waste of a monitor.
I've extend my monitors for years, but about 4 months when I was only using one for a while... and I plugged the second one back in and go to extend the monitor in control panel again... This happens

I'm using a HDMI socket and a DVI to connect them. I've checked to see if all the sockets are working on my graphics card and they are fine when working on their own but when I go to extend the monitor nothing happens.
THOUGH... when I've left my monitors plugged in, but still 'not working'. When I turn on the computer the BOOT screens display on my second monitor but when windows loads it is displayed on my first monitor :S
Could anyone shed any light on this at all?
Thanks
Rig
