I went to MotoGP for the first time ever on Sunday - the British Grand Prix at Donnington Park. I took over 150 shots in between enjoying the racing - a lot of which did not work (but that's the beauty of digital :) ). Here a few that did and that I have processed. Most of the processing is minimal (levels, resizing etc.) - apart from the last 2 which I spent more time on....

Some of them are not as sharp as I would like, but for my first EVER day shooting and panning and them being such a FAST target (170+mph today) - I'm very pleased.

Comments/critic always welcomed :)

And my favourite 3 shots of the day....

My overall favourite. This was actually a very over exposed shot (wrong camera setting) but it was quite sharp - so I tried to rescue it in PS and came up with this - I'm very pleased with the result :)

You can't argue with them Rossi shots, very good first attempt at panning. Looks like you've covered some distance as well, looks like you shot on both sides sections of the track, up over redgate and down at the national extension?

Thanks :)

All of the taken from the bottom of the track on either side of Starkey's Bridge (and the top of it for the shot of them coming down the Craner Curves). I was either panning them coming out of The Old Hairpin or going into McLeans... :)

It was far too hot to be walking around the circuit

We walked to the infield but then had to stop when we passed a bar.... ;) :D

great shots mr maca... the last one is superb! :D :D

Thanks - ironic that it was one of the worst shots when you look at the original - but a few clicks of the PS filters and you can get something like that. Just proves that you can rescue even the worst shots with some PS trickery :)
