My mouse always feels sticky and gross, no matter how much I clean it

I've tried cleaning it was soapy water and baby wipes but it just feels really sticky and gross all the time, I think the coating has worn off, would that cause it? It's a Razer Basilisk V3 which I've only had two years, and I don't really want to spend another £50 when it's working perfectly otherwise. And obviously I'm washing my hands with soap before touching it.

I've had lots of things with rubberised plastic after about 10 years it goes sticky. Remote controls, kitchen utensils, power tools, joysticks, remote controls, etc

Use rubbing alchol. You might also need to use a green scouring pad as well.

I kinda ****** it, I'm not sure how but baby wipes stripped some of the rubber now it feels even worse. So I guess I can either use 100% ISO to remove all the rubber or just buy a new one.
