My Mozilla seems a bit slow

Hey all

Quite recently, my mozilla firefox (1.5) has become quite unresponsive. When i try and load it up, it just hangs on a blank screen and web pages sometimes dont load up.

Any idea whats going? I've tried reinstalling it.. but it's still the same.

Sounds like a memory leak but i could be wrong, you checked the task manager to see what its doing. Jump to Opera you wont look back, i didnt!

My firefox is slowly poking itself with a stick in all the wrong places.

I tried opera a while ago, was too slow for me..

Also checked taskmgr, firefox using about 80cpu \o/, guh.

Well i'm running Opera now, seems more responsive. Getting along nicely with it actually

I'll see how it goes..

I must admit, the pages seem a lot nicer to look at now :confused:

Maybe theres more room or something

Sorry to hijack

But I found i still had it installed, so started messing, anysites that explain customizing the layout? I added a dyanmic spacer and cant rid of it :/

Nm got it, any mods/plugins blah should know off for opera?

You might want to check out this Browser as alternatve to the others already mentioned.

i know it's too late now with all the opera lovin' going on.....

but re-installing usually fixes nothing as it doesn't remove the mozilla folder in your user profile. it's usually this that causes problems with firefox and needs to be deleted to clean things up.
