My Network

Hi there guys!

I've got some new network equipment. A Dell PE 2950, specs are:
x2 Quad Core Xeons 3.16 GHz, ram is 32 GB, 5 x 450 GB SAS Drives <-- Running esxi 5.5
Also a Dell PE R200, specs are: Single Dual Core Xeon 3 GHz, ram is 4 GB, 1x 250GB for Windows, 1x 500 GB for backups. <-- Running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterpise. Also it's running my Exchange Server 2010

In the Gray cabinet, Cisco 2950 24 port Switch, Cisco 3524XL 24 ports with 2 GBICs and a 1760.

Exchange 2010 must run like a dog with only 4GB RAM!

Trust me, It works perfectly normal. I haven't had any issues with it, yet.

It's a clean install, only exchange and web services. Obviously I will increase the memory.

like wise im running exchange 2012 on server 2012 on a vm with an i3 and 4gb of ram allocated and runs spot on.

I've tested Windows 2012 server, it's nice. I also like the in built NIC teaming. Also Exchange is really weird. :/ not used to having to control everything via the web browser. :confused:

I must admit i do prefer it its fast and responsive, it also means i can make a change from any wer and not have to actually log in to the server.
