I see you have an akasa viper and silverstone air penetrators in there how do you find the air penetrators compared to the vipers?

Thats a nice set of 'bits and pieces' you've got there. Very similar to my recent build. I had the have the 800D in my life though.

How do you find the H50 with the uprated fans? I've recently installed a H70 but currently using the stock fans that Corsair supply...

Just with reference to you temps on your current set up. What is your vcore set to? I'd be interested to find out as my idles are 5 -6 degrees higher and my max is well into the 70's. Also what are you using to test the system i.e. Prime, Linx, IBT?

a friend of mine has the same mobo, cpu as me but he has the H70 with stock fans like you have and mine is 5-10 degrees cooler

currently couldnt tell you pall im affraid.. just started playing around with clocks again to see what else i can pull from it.

remember all temps vary due to room sizes and room temps. Im in a 14x14ft room that sits at around 18oC and the intake and outtake vents for my machine are well clear of anthing to impede air circulation.

i use prime 95, occt and Intel tuning utillity. I also use real temp, core temp and speed fan and find the average betrween the 3

if you want me to try some clock setting for you to get a comparison ill be more than happy to do that for ya.

how did you find rigging up the fan controller on the case? I ended up not knowing how to sort it so went and left it out and used the mobo to run the case fans

... i just took of the protectors on the end of the male wires, plugged my fans in and voilà! works.. easy peasey..

if you can post some pics i could help you?? :)

if i put both at 1000RPM the Viper moves more air.. but then again... thats what there made to do.. :/
the AP just centralizes air flow to a certain area.. eg my graphics card

yeah at full speed Vipers sound like vacuum cleaner at full blast. But I agree they shift lots of air. They do have high cfm afterall for 120mm fans:). They are superior to apaches.

yeah i agree but the amount of time that they need to be ran at full speed is very minimal due to the amount of air that they move at low to medium speeds... (if you know what i mean?) :P

Hi guys.. right im looking at my next spend for this rig.. and i am torn between 2 things.. SSD or a new monitor (bare in mind i cant use 3D because of the rubish eyes i was born with :p lol). At the moment i have 32" lcd 1080p tv screen and its waaay too big so im thinking somthin like a 24". SSD wise I have been looking at the OCZ Agility 3 120GB has anyone had experiance with one of these??

so wich one will i find more benifit out off? SSD or Monitor?
