that bike looks sweet, i love the back wheel... BUT whats it like to ride ? i had a buell cityX with no faring, and it was murder over 100 MPH with wind buffering..

Oh and for the speed nazis it was on a track day etc etc

It's not to bad, as with all naked bikes, you have to fight the wind at anything over a 100MPH, the thing is, when you feel the acceleration on this bike you don't mind one bit about the wind.

I can understand where you're coming from, but, it puts out 123BHP and it will out run a 2007 CBR1000RR to 100MPH, i know, i've done it, the acceleration is just amazing.

Hey d.chatten, just seen this thread. You a member on HondaCB1000R.com as well then? I've got a black non-ABS too, but I've got to part with mine :(

Hi Antnee, yes i'm a member of HondaCB1000R.com, great site and you do a great job on the forum, i'm sorry to here you have part with your bike, i hope you haven't got bored with it, but i suppose thats a daft question.

Like others have said, the exhaust is a bit marmite. All new bikes seem to be adopting this new shape and it just doesn't look right.

Apart from that I love it - much more than the equivalent CBR. How have you found it over the past 4 months?

I know what you mean about the exhaust, i quite like it but i'm going to fit an after market can, hopefuly an IXIL Hyperlow like in the pic below.

All i can say is this bike is phenomenal, the stability going in and out of bends is fantastic, it's smooth and very quick under acceleration on a strait and when exiting bends.

Well i have had an after market can (G&G GPS) fitted to my bike for a while and i have just realised that i haven't posted any pics, the next thing is a de-cat pipe and power commander, then maybe a tail tidy.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, @lmfy2k, i've riden naked bikes for most of my 29 years of riding so the wind blast doesn't bother me that much, as for the wind deflector, it does help a bit (not much, just a bit), i've had sports bikes in the past but they don't do it for me, not as much fun in the twisties LOL, BTW, i use to own a Bandit 600 K1 and loved it, one of the most solid bikes i've owned.
