Well, its been a while since I bought something new for my PC, so i7 3930k is getting old now :D

So here are the specs:

Asus x99-S
Vertex 4 SSD plus Intel 750 series 400Gb HHHL SSD for games

https://goo.gl/qOsW9e 7 zip, winrar, cinebench r15 did not see any improvement going from 2.4ghz to 2.8ghz ram. And there is a screeny with CR1 vs CR2 RAM differences. Unfortunately, CR1 was unstable.

AAAnd, yeah, Intel SSD:

Oh, and here is some stock numbers https://goo.gl/8q9MgX
Funny thing is @3.5ghz this CPU scores the same in fritz bench as phenom II x6@4Ghz :D I know it is limited to 8 threads, but still, damn :D

Anyway, motherboard. In some ways very impressive, in others it is absolutely crap. Like feeding my ram without my authorisation 1.4v
And not being able to actually hold the ram at stock speeds while overclocked, but this might be due to ram.
Funny cold boot issues, like not posting at all.
XMP profiles are kinda useless, as XMP 2 profile brings my ram to 3000Mhz with 15-15-15-36 [email protected], while XMP1 profile is 2800Mhz at 15-18-18-39 [email protected]. Either way, none of the profiles are stable.
Majority of BIOS settings are not explained.
What is impressive, is 5 way optimisation. It figured out the max overclock very quickly. Program crashed at 4.5, so I set it to 4.4 at suggested volts of 1.28v. Temps were max 70C in warm room and corsair fans spinning at locked 1200rpm and pump at silent speed.
As I don't really have much time to fiddle too much with 5million of settings in bios, I am happy with 4.4ghz, since temps are near my comfy limits.
ASUS realbench is a treat and a half. Very good for ram testing, loads all the ram up and starts doing all kinds of stuff with CPU, loads it more heavy than Intels XTU, which is a joke of the stress test. XTU has memtest, which loads 3.5gb of ram, which is complete nonsense.
So yeah, at the moment I installed win 7 for testing, next weekend will drop in win 8.1 and start transferring myself to new system.
Also wanted to thank ocUK for excellent service, timely reactions to my questions. Hard not to be a fanboy of you guys ;)

If anyone has any questions or anything else, don't hesitate to ask.
P.S. no 3D benches as I am waiting for certain islands to hit our shores. Then we will unleash the beast
