hi

i have built a micro ITX system in a bitfinex prodigy and need help with quieting it down on a budget.

it consists of this:

Bitfinex prodigy M black case

AMD A6-5400K Black Edition 3.60GHz (Socket FM2) APU with stock cooler

ASRock FM2A75M-ITX AMD A75 Chipset (Socket FM2) DDR3 Mini ITX Motherboad

OCZ 480 gig Bigfoot SSD

8 gig of samsung green 1600 mhz ram

Western digital 450 gig velociraptor 10k RPM HDD

Corsair HX650M modular PSU

MSI HD 6670 2048MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Cooling at present:

1 x stock APU fan replacement needed

1 x Akasa Venom 120 mm fan

1 x stock bitfinex 120 mm fan

other stock fan removed and replaced with venom. will sell these.

any suitable APU silent cooler and case fans. Scythe ones?

i would consider a good watercooler but i won't be overclocking this, i might remove the GPU and sell as i'm not sure if i'll game with it as not worked out how to crossfire yet.

For graphics card have you tried MSI Afterburner and making a custom fan profile?

For my 6850 I can go as low as 30% to reduce fan noise, and then gradually ramp it up after GPU reaches 50 centigrade. But could leave it until higher temperature if want.

yes, i will try that, having problem with xfire but i now know what to do.

i have used that before but i need the case and APU fan replaced.
