Good afternoon all,

I want your advice. I am about to build my PC for myself, it will be my 5th build in about 10 years. So I need your advice on compatibility.
Components are:

My power supply is EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2

I will be using Win 11.

SSD FireCuda 540 PCIe Gen5 Solid State Drive, 2TB - ZP2000GM3A004

Case: Fractal Design R3.

I have a pdf of the case manufacturer it says: Supports graphic card lengths up to circa 290mm and CPU coolers with height of maximum
circa 165mm

Good afternoon Tetras,

thank you for your reply. I understand, I have read that
Case: Fractal Design R3.
is not compatible with:

Asrock X870E Taichi Lite (Socket AM5) DDR5 EATX Motherboard"

Due to it being e-atx.

This is my main worry.

Also what is this thing called "memory tuning" at first boot?
Can you please point to the peerless assassin CPU cooler that you have mentioned?

I have a Seagate SSD FireCuda 540 PCIe Gen5 Solid State Drive, 2TB - ZP2000GM3A004 This will go into the Gen 5 pcie slot as my boot drive.
I actually had the power supply replaced under guarantee four years ago.

I need a long term supported motherboard.

Thank you all again,

I need a computer for video editing and possible gaming.
I need one for a possible PhD that I am applying for and need something long-term.
