edit: I also have an old comp with a DVD drive in it, will this be compatible with this if I recycle it or do i need a new one?

I need a graphics card with the new screen i've bought (Resolution - 1920 x 1080)

Can someone suggest a good 5770 for the price, thatll work good with my monitor?

PS its my first build, also gonna get a anti static wrist strap

Looks OK to me. The DVD drive would be OK, I'd suggest a round IDE cable to connect it.
Why A 5770? I suggest buying the best graphics card you can afford.
