Hello,
A couple of weeks ago i put a post up for a "spec-me" thread
I got my new bits the other day
AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz Socket AM3 6MB L3 Cache Retail Boxed Processor
ASUS M4A78T-E 790GX Socket AM3 onboard VGA DVI HDMI 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard
Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 XMS3 DHX Memory Kit
First i had to strip down my current build,
msi k9n diamond am2
reaper x (will check speeds lol)
am2 5600+ dual core
all across the livingroom floor
all acessories stripted leaving just the mobo and GFX
here is the old mobo next to my GFX card, (updrading end of month)
after a bit of time cleaning i finally have a nice shiny case to put all my new bits in,
and cleam accessories
Here are the new bits,
cpu fan installed on mobo, loads of room all the way round, easy fit
memory sitting in mobo, DDR3 is pretty big, dont help with the size of the heatsink on them lol
looking tidy in the case, (wont after adding cables
)
everything in and ready to go
i will add to the post about how the build went and any good or bad things i came across,
