Hello,

A couple of weeks ago i put a post up for a "spec-me" thread :)

I got my new bits the other day

AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz Socket AM3 6MB L3 Cache Retail Boxed Processor

ASUS M4A78T-E 790GX Socket AM3 onboard VGA DVI HDMI 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard

Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz/PC3-12800 XMS3 DHX Memory Kit



First i had to strip down my current build,

msi k9n diamond am2
reaper x (will check speeds lol)
am2 5600+ dual core


all across the livingroom floor

here is the old mobo next to my GFX card, (updrading end of month)

after a bit of time cleaning i finally have a nice shiny case to put all my new bits in,

cpu fan installed on mobo, loads of room all the way round, easy fit :)

memory sitting in mobo, DDR3 is pretty big, dont help with the size of the heatsink on them lol

looking tidy in the case, (wont after adding cables :( )

i will add to the post about how the build went and any good or bad things i came across,
 
Surely you could do a better job routing all these cables inside that case... I really hate seeing cables everywhere like this, it looks extremely messy, and it also gives you poor airflow as well...

lol, i konw, it wont be staying like that, i am upgrading my GFX and i need a new DVD-RW as mine has died so i thought "sod it" lol, will sort the cables when all the bits are in :)
