Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard £268.99

Intel Core i7 920 D0 Stepping (SLBEJ) 2.66Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366)£220.99

Lian Li PC-B25F Aluminium Midi Tower Case - Black £134.98

Patriot Viper 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel (PVT36G1600ELK) £122.99

What do you think of this, i have graphics card from old build =] and power supply only 700 watt and 8800 GTS, but the graph card will last till i need a new one

I would suggest getting an i7 930 now - its a touch faster and costs about £20 more than the 920.

Also, if you are getting such a high-end motherboard make sure you get some high-end cooling and overclock the heck out of your CPU. If you don't plan to do this, then you may as well save some money and get the X58A-UD3R version of the board.

What is the brand and model number of your 700W PSU?

the OCZ ModXStream Pro 700w not the best but will do for the job right? :D and i'm going to overclock the **** out of it,once got all it up going for watercooling

You could also opt to get it pre-built too overclocked to 4Ghz guaranteed [/URL]

also looked at this but rather do it myself and plus the mobo will last longer/ does the ud3 have usb 3 ?

That PSU should do fine, was just checking you don't have some no-brand one that can only produce 400W before exploding.

The old UD3R doesn't have USB3, but the new X58A-UD3R does have it, and SATA 6G.

*pump* :L

so what doi u think be good build untill i cna get 275 co op ? also what do u think of the 275 co op?

Seriously, don't get the 275 co-op. Its just a GT200 and a g92 sandwiched together to make a meal of mediocrity for a high price. If you want a physx card - I suggest using your 8800GTS when you do buy a newer card.

If you are going to spend that kind of money go for a 5850 or one of the new Nvidia Fermi cards when they get launched on March 26th - the GTX 470 would likely be a good bet (depending on its price).

ok, won't bother with that co-op, would my 8800 gt be ok as a physx card ? becaqsue most peopel use higher spec cards, so that would work fine, also what would be a good card for gaming, should iw ait for the new nvidia cards, o bwt i iwll be running crysis 2, supcom 2, and all this on a 32 ;)

*edit* will the new nvidia cards be 2x sli or 3x sli, and if so, can i have 3 cards and 1 physx card on that board ?
