My new build :)

So, after weeks of buying parts here and there and playing the waiting game I finally got all the parts that I need to put my build together

Specs are

CPU - AMD Phenom II 555 3.20GHz BE
Motherboard - Asus Crosshair III Formula
GPU - Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770
RAM - OCZ Spec Ops 4Gb PC3 12800C8 1600MHz
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 500Gb
PSU - OCZ Stealth Stream 700W
Case - Zalman Z9 Plus

I'm gonna get on the case and put it all together now and will update more pics later... wish me luck

This will undoubtedly **** you off, but had you bought the Crosshair IV mobo, you could drop an AM3+ chip in it in a few months

Nice spec though, and I personally want to see lots of pics of that case - I'm considering buying it!

I was looking at that mobo but me being the impatient person I am just couldn't wait lol

lol it's a squeeze trying to get them to fit in an actual guitar case but that's what happens when you have a pointy guitar fetish

hmm, anyone know how to make them appear bigger like the first pic? i'm using imageshack. I'm new to posting pics on forums...

Spent most of yesterday evening putting my new rig together. Did take a lot more pics but I'm pants with a camera so thought I'd stick the best ones up.

Everything went really well without any hiccups. Even managed to unlock the AMD phenom II 555 3.20GHz BE to a phenom II X4 B55

with just one push of a button. It's all run very stable so far but I'm not sure if I should tweak anything after unlocking it, suggestions anyone?

Normally you need to up vcore - but if its stable no need!

Also, make use of the cable management! :eek:

Yeah it does look a bit shocking there but it's all been cleaned away since
