well decided to retire my old pc to file server media center status.

e6750 + dfi lanparty dk p45-t2rs plus + 4 go OCZ Reaper ddr2 800.

had this proc running at 3.4 for the last 3 years and its been an absoloute star.

a pal decided to upgrade to a i7-2600k so offerd me his 3 month old cherry

picked i5-2500k for £120.

nearly bit his hand off

went on overclokers last night and orderd -

Asus P8Z68-V Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard for
£92

Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz £24.99

i allready have a gtx 295 a thermaltake 750 toughpower Modularized psu.

so the whole upgrade has cot me £236.99.

as a whole what do you guys think of this system and price.

gona be use this for gaming fps/driving games and movies and a fair bit of

encoding.

please give your opinions good or bad.

im also gona add a 120 gig ssd for os - win7 64bit and i have a spinpoint f3 1tb

for storage and a spinpoint f3 1tb for fraps capture and outher video to edit.
