Well, I've had this now for a couple of months, but due to the winter snow and dirt on the roads, I havent had a chance to have it anywhere near clean enough to take pictures.

Couple of quick shots :

As you can see, its a Mazda 3 MPS. Its got the Aero pack fitted, which adds smaller mirrors (which are very small!), bigger rear spoiler and Eibach suspension.

As a day to day hot hatch, its wonderful. It is 260bhp and feels very quick. The kick off the turbo is a great experience. Comes as standard with half leather, a BOSE 6 cd changer, climate control, cruise control and all the bits and pieces.

Day to day, its easy to live with also. I average 30mpg of motorway and back road fun. It has got a slightly harsh ride, but no more so than its rivals which sit on 18" alloys. It only comes in 5 door form. Its certainly discrete - this is a big bonus for me as I don't welcome unwanted attention and idiots trying to race me when I'm just cruising along.

A lot of people automatically think that because its so powerful and FWD, torque steer is an issue. I have never experienced this - its sticks to the road like glue in all weather conditions. Prior to this car, I had tested the ST, VXR, GTi and Type R and can say that it is no more unstable than any of these when driven hard!

Any questions feel free to ask. I don't expect much interest in this as it seems to have only sold about 5 in the entire UK!

Schwing ! I like these cars ! Looks really smart, like the alloys and the slight drop from the Eibachs adds to the look I feel.
Really nice, good buy !

I like them, last time we went to Germany a friend of ours Julian has one thats he modded, didn't get chance to go out in it but i did have a poke around.

Nice cars imho.

Sexual, and before they loaded I thought it would be kinda hideous, but that is seriously nice dude. Congrats :)

It certainly looks smart. Must be a laugh to drive, and as you say, it looks discrete. Congratulations, enjoy it. ;)

Nice, I like a lot.

Fancy grabbing one of these in a few years when I can insure, probably be fairly cheap by then.

I really like them as well. Probably quite high up my list of possible cars once i've finished having fun in the 182.

Yeah, it really will be an excellent buy at the 3 year mark, should be going for about 9-10k by then which is a bargain for the kit you get.

Looking forward to the better weather as well when I can test it out properly!

Was half tempted to trade this towards a new shape Civic Type R, but not so sure now, I really enjoy driving it.

driven one of these round thruxton briefly and as mentioned by the OP i was pleasantly suprised by the lack of torque steer.

nice torquey engine too. :)

Might be looking at one of these in a few years when depreciation has hit a bit more, very capable and with 260bhp on tap too
