Evening all,

I did a little bit of a u-turn on the cars I was looking at, and decided against the RX8 for numerous reasons. I'm looking to keep this for a year maybe then when my insurance comes down think about something else.

Anyways...

Here's a few pics on my new Fiesta ST (picking it up Sunday or Monday). It's an 07 plate with just over 10K on the clock. I can't wait to get it :D

Looks smart that mate. Weird thing is, a lad I work with bought a Zetec S in the same colour this week - was pleasantly surprised at how nice the interior was.

Enjoy it. :)

I got an ST back in 08 and it really is great fun to drive for such an affordable car. Big step up from the old 1.25 Zetec I had! They definitely look smart and handle great.

I had one of these not too long ago. I do miss it at times, was always good fun to drive and sounded great with the miltek exhaust system it had on it :D

They handle alright but no where near as good as the clio sports do. After a few blasts you'll know what I mean as they can feel a bit high-sided at times which is a bit of a shame as it has some good potential.

:)

Seemed so different from my old car when I test drove it was you would expect. I'm pleased with having it as my second car and it really is on fantastic condition.

I'm already thinking about some performance mods down the line, but to be honest I don't want to void the warranty yet, and the mountune stuff is pretty expensive.

We'll see how it goes, I just can't wait to pick it up.

Looks nice! But you were looking at cars with well over 200bhp - does the ST not feel like a bit of an anti-climax?

good chioce not havin the rx8 my bro had one it was fast as.... but fell apart all the time, cost him so much to keep gettin fixed!

Noob, should have bought a...................

Oh wait :D

Looks very tidy, enjoy it, but don't roll it into a field :)

Yeah I was looking at much faster cars but decided against it, this was available locally and it's still quite a step up from my old Clio. Also, rather than stretch myself and get one of the cheapest Focus STs etc, I could get an almost new, immaculate example Fiesta ST.

I can always luck to sell in the summer and switch to something else if i'm bored by then :)

Picking it up tonight so will get some more snaps in the near future as the ones above were took by the dealer.

Can't wait to get out of work and get it :D

I'll try get some pics while it's still super shiny from the dealer, but it's hammered it down all day so it wont be quite as nice. Best get some cleaning product bought.

Anyways, left work early yesterday to go about pick it up as I couldn't wait any longer, and i'm glad I did!

It's better (as you would expect) in every single way over my old naff Clio 1.4 expression.

Feels like there's pleanty of power up until about 85-90mph, feels much more solid and planted in the corners without tonnes of body roll. Took a little to get used to changing gears with a much shorter, better shift compared to the turdpile that was the Clio.

The seats and half leather and feel pretty supportive, the rest of the interior looks great and feels really solid and well built.

Either way, i'm very happy and although I was concerned about the power of these originally, it feels more than enough for now... and i'm hardly going to keep it forever.

:D

That's my realistic dream car at the moment. I really want a moondust silver pre facelift.

Now, get that thing lowered on spax (45mm) or eibach (35mm) and get the rear spacers from zippy racing and you're set! Enjoy it, sign up to STOC.com also!
