...Well it's not that new actually, purchased in October.

2004 (53 plate) Ford Focus st170 with plenty of nice extras:

-Xenons
-6 CD changer + sub in the boot.
-Full leather heated Recaro's
-Climate control

Coming from a 1.6 focus I am very pleased with it's performance, it's not blisteringly quick, but a nice stepping stone onto bigger and faster machines. It's fuel economy is far from good, but I knew it wouldn't be and have budgeted for it. I await your (critical) opinions!
Apologies for the rubbish phone pics.

Is the fuel consumption really around 25?! My 2.5ST is getting that! Didnt realise the ST170 was that bad on fuel :)

Looks in MINT condition though, good buy :)
As I said, I haven't worked it out but I would be surprised if it was much more than 25. MPG isn't a concern for me, and when I finish my post-graduate course this year I plan to live very close to my future employers.

These look fantastic and handle great but are ridiculously expensive to insure when the performance doesn't match the premium.

An ST220 would have been a wiser choice imo.

I wouldn't say they are "ridiculously expensive to insure"... Ridiculous is 17 year olds paying £2k+ on a 1.1 saxo like they have to now days. A st220 probably would have been the sensible choice, but this was a heart over head moment i'm afriad.

Very nice car, but 4k? seems allot, could have got a better car for the money.

Taking account of the tax and servicing/mot its more like £3600/£3700 but yep, completely agree better cars could probably be had. However, it is this car that I wanted :)
