I finally installed my new cooler today - it was very easy to setup - had no hassles... anyone guess what it is!! Temps dropped 25 degrees C from idle.

Looks great that, temps are sweet as well. Get rid of that pink outta your case ya puff! I won't guess cause I already did over msn and guessed rightly don't wanna ruin it for others lol.

Be interesting to see the temperatures on that when the E6600 is overclocked, have you thought about sticking another fan onto the other side? (that one on there blows air onto the cooler I take it?)

Yeah it blows onto the cooler... I do have a 120mm fan I can use, but right next to that cooler is a 120mm fan that blows air out the case.

Is it a cylinder head of a CZ125 :p

:D

It is rather large... its quiet as a whistle too! Now I just need cooling in my hard drive bays at the front. Fans blow in Australia - you guys seem to have access to all the good gear!

fitted one last night to my DS3 and E4300. Not put the fan on yet!!! It is huge!!!

Idle temps was 41 and under full load 60. (only reaches 50 when gaming!) But that is with no fan on the cooler and only 1 x 80mm intake and 1 x 120mm exhuast.

Will add the fan tonight and have a play - should hopefully take another 5 degrees off or so.

It's such a quieter system with no fan on your cpu cooler.

Didn't know the Ninja used those little black pegs to mount on LGA775? was that fiddly to fit? that's a lot of weight being held on by a little bit of plastic?

Seems you need a mobo with short-caps or no-caps near the CPU socket, looks like the heatpipes clear the short-caps on your mobo just fine.

Those short pegs were also a concern to me. Nothing is screwed in to secure it, it's just pushed into the board like the default cooler that comes with the chip... a lot weight too...

Hmmm, tricky one. These heatsinks that are nearly twice the weight of what INTEL recommends should really be attached by some kinda backplate, I can see this not being a great thing having nearly 1KG hanging from your mobo by four tiny black pegs!
