www.shuffle-art.com offers some high quality skins for the apple laptop range called koobniks. I came across this site and asked if they would cater for a custom design which they did. I ordered a custom skin for the cover of the macbook as well as the wrist pad area. These skins are reuseable and do not leave a sticky residue behind.
So using my very limited photoshop skills I came up with a design, submitted it to them and a week later here it is:

I also got a skin for my ipod video from them

I like the iPod, not too keen on the MacBook though.
Same opinion here :(

A black Macbook with the same design as the iPod would rule though!

I thought I'd add some personalisation to my macbook. The plain whiteness started to look a bit empty. The theme I decided to use was based on a famous chinese proverb, translation and meaning is on the design. My photoshop skills are severly lacking and the design is nothing special, but I am happy with it. Someone with better photoshop skills would no doubt produce a much better design. The standard designs by Roger (owner of shuffle art) are pretty good, much better than the ones offered at macworld, I chose to design my own because I wanted it to be a bit more personalised.
It cost $25USD for the custom wrist area ($20 for standard design), and $35USD for the macbook cover. The ipod skin cost $12USD. The pound is pretty strong at the moment, nearly $2 to £1.

Nice, but I'm qiute fickle when it comes to customizing stuff, I would what a diffrenet design per day... if they not suck on with some sort of gule - how do stay on?

Like prevously asked how much did they cost, and would they use images/logos thats copyrighted to other companys? I think a venom (marvel character) theme with diamond webbing would rock on my black macbook - hey I can even have a matching black ipod and nintendo ds...

Roger said its a special type of adhesive that they use. The vinyl film is sticky but it just doesn't leave a residue, and is reuseable.
You should goto his flickr page through the his website (url in first post) and check out his !Play theme, soooo nice!!!!
