I got my new 'toy' delivered to work today. I've just been out for a blast on it.

Its absolutely awsome.

I started out on grass, and once I'd got my confidence up there I tried it on concrete. After an hour or so I was flying along with it flat out! Its much like a bike. When you're up to speed, balancing isn't too difficult. Its the getting going, and controlling direction thats the hard bit,

I even rode it from the park home. Got a few funny looks, but everyone was interested in what it was. Dont think anyones seen anything like it before.

I took my girlfriend too and she spent ages trying to do it, but she couldn't balance without letting go of me.

I'm quite surprised how quick I picked it up, but I'm sure I'm gonna break a bone soon enough on it!

What dya think....

Yer. You put a foot through each wheel. The front wheel had two pivots. A left right one and a twice one, so it has quite a lot of movement, however its 'sprung' by the bar going across the top.

You ride it like a snowboard sideways.

The design is complete genius I think. And you can ride either normal or goofy without having to make any changes to it.

Not sure what its called really. It was described as a wheely footer, and a mountainboard atv, but both names aren't really catchy.

I think I'm gonna call it a buzzsaw. Kind of fits it.

I've got a 60mb video of people using one on a CD that came with it. Stupid me left it at work.

I'll upload it somewhere on Monday if you want. Not sure where I can put a 60mb video for people to see though.

I think it looks like brilliant fun, I gotta get me one of them!

EDIT : Must resist!!
The seller has been selling them for £225 + 35 delivery for a while on ebay. I've been watching every one. None of them sold. He puts them on with a £50 starting bid, but I know the reserve is at least 180. I kept bidding, but because no one else bid, the reserve was never met

Then I notieced he put one up for £179 with £25 delivery + 5 insurance and no reserve, so I jumped at the chance.

He's still got some like that, but he just put one up for £149 buy it now and £45 delivery, which is gonna work out a tenner less than I got it for.

Here's the link. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WHEELY-FOOTER...66734QQcategoryZ75214QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem

You KNOW you want to! :p

Oh, and there is one BIG benefit of these.

It fits in the boot of a coupe! :p

My mate got one of these, and he has to put the back seats down of his golf to fit it in.

How noisy are they? My mini moto is fairly noisy, my neighbours probably hate me.
Its actually not that bad. The engine is quite well silenced, and its not really high revving.

I guess you wouldn't describe it as well silenced though.

Just looked at the pics on fleabay and finally i understand how you are supposed to fit on it.
I think Good luck is in order as you will need it. I am glad i am to old to be talked into trying something like that.
The 4 wheel jobby looks top and i would try that for a laugh in a big open field but that 2 wheel foot through the wheels thing just looks weird to my old eyes. How do you get going.
Well I've been out on it a couple of times now, and I think I've got the hang of it.

Starting off is the hardest thing. It takes a bit of practice. You can actually lean it on the ground, put your feet in, then twist it up and then move off.

I've made some modifications to it now. Some big scratches were being made on the bits sticking out in the middle, so I've added some alu checkplate to it to protect it.

Ok, next time I'm out on it, I'll get my mate to video me doing a wheelie, falling over trying to do a tailspin, and generally doing more challenging stuff.
