I had a mk1 and it ticked all the right boxes...mainly as I go fishing with mates it needs to be able to seat at least 3 adults and a weekends worth of fishing gear...but its still fun to boot over a country road

so a mk2 was the logical replacement

its on 18's and goes and handles like a dream

It has a really sophisticated style too it. Quite subtle, but definately a nice looking car. :)

However I think some chav has sprayed graffiti on your number plate ;)

Apart from that it's spotless

heh picture editing is not my thing...although it could be lots of dead flies as there were plenty up on the moors road I drove

2.0 litre turbo 200ps or 197 bhp if you are old fashioned...good old VAG engine sharing

Nice car, much of an improvement over the old one?

yes...in gear performance is much improved as is the handling..but the big difference is the quality of the interior..it really is a very impressive place to sit...no hard shiny plastics, all the lids of the various little cubby holes are nicely damped...the only thing we dont get in the scud is the damped grab handles.
