My new folding rig

Managed to get hold of an IBM RS6000 server from work as it was being chucked! gonna help out the OcUK folding team beat those russians once i have it up and running :cool:

Specs:

4 Power PC CPU @ 1ghz each
4gb ram as far as i can tell
3TB of storage

the joys of working for an IBM company! it was being chucked so i thought id ask if i could take it and he said take both but the size of those is massive! i could only get one out the building before i thought forget it!

even if i did id have no wear to put it! tis very big the pic makes it look quite small but its a meter long by 90cm tall and 50cm accross! 3TB does me just fine i dont even have aneed for 3TB however if im in this week sometime i may strip down the other one and take the extra ram as it has 8 slots so i can fill the rest to get 8gb of ram! :cool:

may also steal the Hdd's so it shall have 6tb! :cool:
