My new G703 causing performance issues?

Hey guys,

I just played a game of BF4 there, and something strange is up! :confused:

yesterday I was playing and my FPS was capping out at around 200, and the GPU usage (according to AfterBurner) was around 70% utilisation..great!

But when I fired up that game just now.. I am only averaging around 170 fps and my GPU utilistion is peaking at 99%?

I just setup today my new G703 wireless mouse, but surely thats a coincidence and cannot be related???

Yeah, I tried my wired mouse again and even closing the software down.. no change.

Just testing a few other games to see if the FPS has taken a hit, currently CS GO and COD Cold War.

Just played some CS GO and Cold War, and the performance, seems as good, stable and cool.

Dunno what is up with BF4 but as its working fine otherwise, im gonna not dwell over it.

so in bf4 your still getting 170fps at 100% load as before?

Yes mate, although I was solid capping at 200 and only 65-70% utilisation on BF4??

are you using msi afterburner with rtss overlay? if so try disabling both and use perfOverlay.drawfps 1 in bf4 console to enable fps overlay and see if you get 200fps cap as before.

thanks mate, will give that a go.

just quickly though..I fired up BF5, 2440p ultra, 64 man conquest, limited fps to 120 to match my refresh rate, and that was pegged at 120..plus, when i checked afterburner afterwards, my temp was around 62c peak, and load was only around 70%.

And im guessing that BF5 is way way more demanding than 4??

bf5 is a good chunk more demanding
