Hello everyone, I went and bought a new rig this week. Had it delivered on Saturday and have it fully functional today. All I am waiting for is my XFX 5850, which is on backorder. Here is my full spec.. (some of it I already owned from my previous rig, the only new stuff is MB, CPU, RAM, GPU, CPU Cooler)

Nah.. I've made a partition and plan to install Windows 7 64bit when it arrives as I preordered it back when you got it discounted.

Good to see there are some people on forums that are decent!

Just installed Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising, runs like a dream maxed out even with the 8800GTX.. can't wait to see it with the 5850 though!

Not planning on overclocking just yet, but when I do I will be sure to post the results.

What have you got your 860 clocked at and what are the temps like?

Like I said, no plans to overclock just yet but at core clocks the temp is at 40C and under quick P95 stress test, with all 4 cores and 8 threads the max I have seen it at is 65C.

Will do, as soon as my XFX 5850 arrives! When are they gonna be sent out.. it feels like I have been waiting forever!
 
Scrap those temps, I didn't get chance to use Cpu-z or Core Temp yesterday, so I got those figures from PC-Probe (what a load of BS!).. but this morning I have used Core Temp, at idle it is running at 23C low, 31C high.

Gonna run a stress test now.

Get watercooling it and then overclock the shiz out of it. ;)
