Hey all, someone here must have a bit of experience here.
I recently installed an i7 980x CPU into my Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5 rev 1.0 mobo and im using my old Corsair H50 (from my old i7 930) to cool it. Im not overclocking though.
Recently downloaded CPUID CPU-Z and Core Temp 1.4 to see how my core temps are looking.
Core Temp reports the following temps at idle:
Highest Core #0 @ 29c
lowest Core #3 @ 24c
After running CPU-Z's Stress CPU test for around 10 mins I get the following:
Hottest Core #0 @ 57c
coolest Core #3 @ 52c
How does that look to you guy's ?
Cheers
Paul
