Ordered this build today. been told i'm nuts lol :D
I'm not am i ? lol
I ordered not long after 5:30pm today. would i still get it for tomorrow for next day delivery ?
hope so :) gosh this beats sex lol well almost lol

Nice build, I would have personly gone for a 4870X2 but that's me :)

No PSU!

Did you get any shipping confirmation, or check your account to see what the status of your order is.

Hi, why would you of gone with the 4870X2 ? any reason lol i went that way coz from the reviews it's a lot faster:D
All ready have a PSU :)

A's i was going to go the ATI route. now i've changed to nvidia,
Will my PSU still be ok ? or would getting a better one make any difference.
It's a gooden. but not really sure what you look at on a PSU.

Yeah, you won't get that till Friday. OCUK's cutoff is usually about 4pm for next day delivery. Nice kit though :)

Main reason for £100.00 less you don't loose much on performance, wethere or not driver updates have changed this not sure :)
 
Hah, I'm about to order nearly the exact same build, gone for a 285 tho, seems the 295 is just overkill unless you run a monster monitor. Went for the Antec 900-2 case as well, purely a preference. Let us all know when you get it up and running.

I expect to see lovely pics of the unopend goods as well as a nice build log :)

Nothing like some hardware pR0n piccies :)

Doe's the board come with a clocking program that you can use in windows ?
 
If you're the type of guy that spends his spare time overclocking an benchamarking and you think that's better than sex/regects sex to continue his wildest overclocking dreams then yes, you are nuts :)

If you've got the money to burn then why not but high end parts devalue quickly. I would return the graphics card for a cheaper one but that's just my opinion, no game needs that much power. My 8800gt is still holding up fine at 1680x1050 :)

I play also on my 32" at high res, with aa @ af high etc.
The sex thing was a joke lol.
You should be happy for me ;) guess a lot of us are nuts with what we can spend on a pc.

What CPU you using with that card mate ? ram etc

Nice set up.
Don't worry about the graphic card theres always people here moaning about people who buy top end components.
If you are not upgrading for sometime it will be more futureproof.

Well i worked hard and saved hard for it :) could have spent it all down the pub ;) but that's just not me.

It won't be here till friday. as the dead lines 4:30pm
I'm sure i'll cope. just a sleepless night thursday lol
My missus will say, what's wrong hun can't you sleep, no my dear lol i'm to excited lol gosh i'm sad. i'm messing by the way :D

Is the 295 really worth the price?

And with the price you paid for your GPU, why didn't you get the extream i7? would have made more sense going all out, rather than holding back on CPU :P
