My new monitor is scratched

I need to know if its possible to have a 'new' screen fitted?

its an Ilyama, backlit, lcd cool as, 22 incher

are there companies who can fit a new screen, or is it ruined

(i did it opening the box with a knife,, clever huh)

Lets just hope it wasn't bought from ocuk as you just accepted responsibility for the damage on there own forum. Otherwise I imagine it would be cheaper to just buy a new monitor and sell yours with the scratch then try get yours fixed somehow. If its got a AG coating maybe you could try remove that if the scratch only goes so deep.

Dont the boxes have splattered all over them "DO NOT USE A KNIFE HERE" or similar on the side that has the screen?

House insurance cover for accidental damage?
