Last week I was mainly building this beauty :

4x1GB GeIL PC2-6400
Geforce 8800GTX (from previous build)
500GB SATA-II Samsung Spinpoint

Artic Freezer 7
2 x scythe bays each have 120mm fans at front
1 x standard 120mm + 1 x90mm case fans at rear
Corsair 620w PSU
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Professional
Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP 24" widescreen LCD Flat Panel
Windows Vista-64 Ultimate

all neatly tucked away yunder my hand made desk :

Blimmy.. the TFT makes such a difference. The CRT I had took most of tht desk up.. Now I have loads of room

my lovely new 24" WS bad boy

Not got any benchmarks. I've had a few problems with Vista64 but all stable at stock settings. It leave my old AMD X2 4400+ standing. I'm hoping to get this upto 3.2GHz within the next few weeks..

You don't mention the case but it looks like a Thermaltake Kandalf? Don't like the looks of it personally but lots of space and a very nice system you have there. Perhaps a better cooler would be in order at some point?

I know - keep meaning too

The Kandalf was bought for two reasons:

1. To house the GTX and

2. Water cooling after the expense of Christmas

I can't get either CoreTemp or CPC benchmark to work with Vista64.

Also does anyone know how I get Orthas working on all fours.. Cores that is.

Nice rig. Grats

To stress all 4 cores with Orthos I heard you need to run two instances of it and set the affinity for each to different cores.

Or you could just use the latest version of Prime95, that does the 4 cores at once.
