Opposite for me, hurt more than getting kick in the nads when it got done, but it's fine now

I am thinking of doing kind of the same, but on the upper part, the cartilage I think it's called? I never had an earing, I am guessing it's a bit uncomfortable to sleep on the side you got pierced?
