Hmm as per my previous posts about blocking some of the air vents in an attempt to raise the ambient temps in the viv, its done naff all, either my digital temp probes are knackered or it really is that low, hot end according to the probe is currently 78.4f, That is not the basking spot, thats currently at 109f tested with my infra red gun, my cold end is identical to the hot end 78 ish.
I have both temp probes on the side wall poking out so they dont contact the wood and around 3" off the floor, again as per info on RFUK, my thermostat probe is in the cool end 3" off the floor, obviously never dims but the basking spot is perfect, just ambients are low.
