Gutted my old P180 (3 years of trusty service), and set this beauty up.

I know I could have done a better job of the cabling, but my PSU only came with 2 Sata power cables, and I could not get all 3 HDDs going behind the mobo tray :(

Acoustics rock! And it's cooler.

Below is a comparison speedfan reading:

P180: Fenrir @ 100%, Nexus 120mm in, Nexus 120mm out, idling all day in my room.
Raven 2: Fenrir @ 40%, 180mm fans on low, 120mm fan on low, 20 minute run of Orthos than turned Orthos off and screengrabbed 30 seconds later.

WOOT! :D

looks good, different how the mobo faces the other way...does that mean you have to take the top off to run the vga/dvi/hdmi cable to your monitor?

good job on the temps too

Nope, if you look at the lit pic with the case window, the top of the case has a fitting that goes up at an angle. This is a riser/vent thing that you route the cables under to come out the top back of the case, as you can see here. :)

Next on my list is a Corsair H50 :D

Looks good :)

Those temp drops look quite impressive.

A nice design from Silverstone to change the mobo layout.

Woe is the cabling, woe i tell thee..

Liking this case tho.. Is there much room at the bottom of the graphics, and can you take a pic with the roof off so we can see the cables out the top.

Woe? :(

Everything I can is tucked under the mobo tray, sadly my ide cable is huge, and the sata power ones weren't long enough to go under and reach both drives.

It's MUCH better than my P180 was!

lol!

As for the pics, I'm not home until next week, so will then.

About 1-2" clearance between the gfx card and fan (not including the pci-e power cable). Big cards without vertical power plugs will have issues.

I'd be intersted to hear in a few months how much dust it has picked up inside of it, with the fans on the bottom like that it looks like a good hoover!

PK!

Beautifull case - I was really tearing myself appart trying to decide between it and the 932. Just stick a cathode or too in there to light up the lovely components :)

i like this case for looks, just a shame they don,t think better of cable management somthing on the lines of the corsair and it would have been a winner:)

Just comes off as being different for the sake of it for me but I do like the design.

Aren't they insanely deep though meaning desk overhang?

The vertical mounting works a treat imo, it's all very logical.

It is very deep yes, and does stick out under my desk, but that is only temporary, and I will be buying an equally deep desk in the future ;)
