Hi everyone,

Some of you might remember me asking some questions about NHS subsidised lease cars. Well I went ahead and ordered one, and 14 weeks (!) later I have a brand new car to enjoy.

So far I'm really impressed with it. Sure, it couldn't pull the skin off custard, but it's comfortable, quiet, handles pretty well and has a good stereo. I've not been able to get anywhere near Ford's economy figures but I've still averaged 59.5 mpg over 300 miles so far, which is a vast improvement on my other car.

I've been really enjoying having a normal car where I can enjoy some music and just chill out.

Here's a picture:

I do believe that you have a Klingon battle sword for a headlight lens!

Hah I notice it now. Still have the Mx5 but its now pretty much stripped right down. Costs me 96 a month and £13 tax.

I think that the front head-lights are well designed and aggressive looking. On the other hand, you have the Fiat 500's small and circular lights which appeals to people as it makes the car look 'cute'. I prefer the Fiesta!

nice,

thats the newest colour I think (midnight grey?).

I still dont like the wheels, prefer the 17" street packs any day, but i guess being 16" they are more comfortable.

Did you get usb + bluetooth?

I actually tried to get the street pack, but you can't spec the TDCI Zetec S with the street pack anymore. I didn't believe it but it's true. The car is boggo standard, but has aircon, cd player with auxiliary input. And yeah thats the new Midnight Sky colour. :)
