So after realizing that I actually needed to buy something sensible as a run around, i went straight to look at 106's. After driving one i realized how rubbish they are to drive. Not really bothered about the power but the seating position, the steering, even the pedal layout was horrible. So i decided to go for a bimmer and found this.
Not to everyones taste i know, but i love it. Its easy to drive and is just great for pottering around in. Its also runs on LPG, so its nearly as cheap to run as the 106 would have been but just nicer to drive and with a lot of space in the back
And now the reason i had to buy a cheap run around
70k on the clock with 5k on the engine. Its got a big single turbo conversion and is running 430 bhp on 0.8 bar of boost, which imo is still far too much.
Main negatives are the bodywork, though there is absolutely no rust.
The car handles like its on rails, sounds stereotypical but its so true!
I think it just needs to be lowered on 17's and de spoiler'd then it'll be all good
