My new server bits have arrived, i forgot the thermal compound!

I have some new low end server bits that im putting together today.

However one thing I missed off the list was thermal compound,

Is there any thing I can use that will replace this just so I can test it for tonight, I really want to play

AMD Sempron 3100+ socket 754 chip with stock HSF.

Your better off waiting rather than messing about. When you install the CPU you only wanna be doing it the once ideally. Tiny bit more patience and you'll be sorted.

In the meantime get yourself a bacon sarnie

all working, will have to get some more
