That's gonna have to be one hella big hole in the wall and some damn heavy rails to support the weight of a pool table :eek:

Indeed

Especially as the pool table has a slate bed. This room is on the top floor (almost like a loft conversion but it was part of the house's original design) and conveniently has a hollow wall to the side of it where the rest of the area under the roof is.

The rails will probably be made of high carbon steel, countersunk into the floor, and with any luck the gap between the table's legs will closely match the gap between the floor beams making the job a little bit easier.

But yeah its gonna be a big job, but damn will it be great when it's finished
